John David Crow - Texas A&M's only Heisman Trophy winner. Drafted in the first round by the Chicago Cardinals and was selected by four probowls. Member of the Texas A&M Sports Hall of Fame and National Football Foundation Hall of Fame.
Mark Dennard - Former Aggie and NFL lineman. Played seven years with the Miami Dolphins and two years with Member of the Texas A&M Sports Hall of Fame and founder of the Boys & Girls Club Celebrity Golf Classic. Owner of Wings N More.
Hunter Goodwin - Outstanding offensive lineman at Texas A&M, 1995-1996. All SWC in 1996. Drafted by the Minnesota Vikings in 4th round. Played tight end for both the Vikings and Dolphins prior to retirement in 2003.

Dana Batiste - Texas A&M Linebacker, 1985-1988. Led the team in tackles with 110 in 1988. Drafted by the Miami Dolphins in 1989 and received career ending injury in a pre-season game. In 2005, Batiste was one of three Texans to play in the CBS reality golf series, "PGA Tour 18 - Golf's Ultimate Road Trip"
Bubba Bean- Texas A&M Running back 1972-1975. All Southwest Conference 1974 and 1975. Drafted in the first round by the NFL Atlanta Falcons in 1976. Bubba has the 2nd longest run from scrimmage in Texas A&M history of 94 yards against Texas Tech, October 11, 1975 in Lubbock.
Gary Blair- Texas A&M University's Women's Basketball Head Coach. Blair was named the 2006 National Coach of the Year by the Women's Basketball News Service. In 2007 the Women's Basketball team was named the 2007 Big 12 Conference Women's Basketball Champion. In 2008, he team won the Big 12 Conference Tournament and made the Elite 8 in the NCAA Tournament.
Matt Bungardner- wide reciever from 1995-1999, who is best known for his leaping grab in heavy traffic against Oklahoma State in 1997 helped the Aggies pull off a startling, come-from-behind victory that propelled A&M to the Big 12 South title.
Red Cashion- Former Aggie football officiator. He was inducted into the Texas A&M Sports Hall of Fame in 1999. He has officiated in some of sports biggest events with the Southwest Conference and the NFL. He also officiated in two SuperBowls and is known for his enthusiatic "First Dowwwwnnnnn" calls to the crowd.
Rich Coady - Played safety at Texas A&M, 1995-1998. Stalwart defender made several key tackles in the Big 12 Championship Game in 1998 vs. Kansas State. Player in the NFL, 1999-2005.
Larry Dierker- a former pitcher and manager in Major League Baseball who had a 14-year pitching career from 1964 through 1977 and a five-year career managing the Houston Astros from 1977 through 2001. He played for the Houston Colt .45s/Astros and the St. Louis Cardinals/ Houston Colt 45's/Astros, both of theNational League.
Dave Elmendorf- Elmendorf played for the A&M football team as a free safety from 1967-1970, earning All-SWC honors in 1969 and 1970 and All-American honors as a senior. Elmendorf was also an outfielder for the A&M baseball team from 1968-1971 gaining All-Southwest Conference from 69-71 and All-American honors in 1971. He played as a safety for nine seasons in the and was a part of the Los Angeles Rams Super Bowl XIV team. In 1997 he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and the Texas A&M Sports Hall of Fame. He is the "voice" of Aggie Football as analyst on the radio.
Jacob Green - Texas A&M Defensive End. Made All-American 1979. Played 12 years in the NFL for the Seattle Seahawks. Earned All-Pro honors on several occasions. Presently works for the 12th Man Foundation.
Edd Hargett- A former quarterback for Texas A&M University, Hargett went on to play for the New Orleans Saints and the Houston Oilers. Quarterback, 1996-1999. Big 12 Championship in 1998. Holds record for longest play from scrimmage in school's history of 96 yard pass to Chris Taylor vs. Tulsa on September 18, 1999.
Randy McCown - Texas A&M Football Quarterback, 1996-1999. Big 12 Championship in 1998. Holds record for longest play from scrimmage in school's history of 96 yard pass to Chris Taylor vs. Tulsa on September 18, 1999.
Charlie Milstead -Charles Milstead was born in Tyler and began his athletic career in high school. He went on to A&MUniversity where he was an outstanding quarterback. In 1998 he was named to the Texas High School Hall of Fame. After earning his degree in engineering, he was drafted by the Houston Oilers.
Terrence Murphy- Texas A&M Wide Receiver/ kick returner, 2001-2004. Holds the A&M school record for career receptions with 172 for 2600 yards and 10 touchdowns. Drafted in the NFL by the Green Bay Packers in 2005 in the second round. His career was cut short by an injury.
Steve O'Neal- Texas A&M standout in both football and track. Was All-SWC punter 1967-1968 and All-American in 1968. Played professional football for 5 years. Still holds the record for longest punt in NFL history of 98 yards, September 21, 1969 for New York Jets vs. Denver
Dan Pastorini- A graduate of Santa Clara University who was a National Football League quarterback for three teams; Houston Oilers, Los Angeles Rams, and Philadelphia Eagles.
Vic Schaefer- Texas A&M Women's basketball associate head coach graduated from Texas A&M in 1984. He is in his 12th season of coaching at his alma mater. With his help, the Aggies entered the NCAA Elite Eight for the first time in school history and captured the team's first-ever Big 12 Conference Tournament title.
R. C. Slocum - Head football Coach at Texas A&M, 1989-2002. He is the winningest coach in A&M Football history. Spent 30 years as a coach at A&M. Won the Big 12 championship in 1998. Was SWC coach of the year 3 times. Over 50 players were drafted into the NFL during his tenure. In 2006, he was inducted into the Texas Sports Hall of Fame.
Cameron Spikes- A former Aggie football player (1995-1998) from Madisonville, Texas. Spikes was drafted in the 1999 National Football League draft to the St. Louis Rams, and was an All-American guard. Spikes played seven seasons in the NFL.
Mark Thurmond- Former Major League Baseball pitcher from 1983-1990. Thurmond played with four MLB teams throughout his career. In his career he had 314 total wins and 320 strikeouts.
Ty Warren (No Golf)-- Defensive lineman for the New England Patriots of the National Football League. He was drafted by the Patriots in the first round of the 2003 draft. Ty is also a former Texas A&M Aggie.
Richmond Webb (Steak & Shake only)- Former Texas A&M football player who went on to play in the NFL wit the Miami Dolphins and Cincinatti Bengals as offensive lineman. He set team records with the Dolphins, starting a record 118 consecutive games and playing in seven Pro Bowls.
